After years of facilitating workshops, our founder, Dan Osborne, noticed that the real magic wasn’t in the presentations but in the conversations happening between attendees. People lit up when they felt truly heard, challenged, or inspired by someone they’d just met.
As he looked more closely at our increasingly screen-based world, he saw how much connection was quietly disappearing from daily life. He was concerned by the loneliness and social fragmentation brought on by mobile phones, social media, and remote work that were affecting people of all ages. When COVID hit, it only intensified the need for meaningful human interaction. And now, with the rapid rise of AI, we’re once again confronted with massive shifts that are full of promise, but also stress and uncertainty about how we relate to one another as humans.
What troubled him most was seeing people gravitate toward polarising communities, not always because they agreed with them, but because they were desperate to belong. It made him realise just how powerful our need for connection really is.
A life-changing motorcycle accident in the Himalayas only clarified that purpose. Facing something that could have ended his life made him more determined to help others live more fully through real relationships and meaningful moments of human connection.
Jambo Networking is his way of doing that.
It’s a space for professionals, creatives, and curious minds to come together, not to pitch or perform, but to engage in genuine, structured conversations that bring curiosity, insight, and fresh perspectives back into their lives.

Jambo Networking is invitation-only. If you've been invited, you'll receive three email invitations to attend future events and experience the benefits of membership. After this trial period, membership is required to continue attending. Although we are an invitation-only network, we reserve a limited number of application-based invitations for individuals who may not yet be connected to any current members.
